This is an original sword concept I came up with today. My process is that I concept in Maya. I rarely do sketches unless there are aress that need to be flushed out. I constantly changed things to make this feel right in 3D.. Block out stage is important than just re use those blocks and turn into the actual 3D assets. Modeled in Maya. Textures done in Substance Painter. Handle stencil done in Photoshop using the pen tool. Lighting done in Marmoset Toolbag 3.
